We just don't know to have fun...all the time. People with a Stress Prone Personality experience more self-destructive body responses to real and imagined threats than more laid back people because of the way we think. Stress Prone People tend to think in "extremes" rather than gray areas. We approach situations are though our only choices are all or nothing. Once we are in a frustrating situation, we tend to only become more frustrated. Once we are out-of-control, we tend toward going more out-of-control. We do not recognize that at any moment, in any escalation, we have the opportunity to calm down, to see a situation as full of possible outcomes, instead of only getting worse.
Think of an accelerating situation like a tennis match. We can put our racket down and not hit the ball back, not keep the stakes going up...at any time. Stress Prone people tend to see complex situations, such as work, commuting, and even family outings, as "struggles," as problems to "get through" or be resolved, rather than as pieces of life to be expected and lived with some pleasure. Our Stress Prone thinking oozes out onto into our relationships because our core beliefs include thinking that other people cannot be depended on and that we can only succeed by working harder and faster than other people. Defining life situations with our "all or nothing" thinking, we find it difficult to make see work, family, and even commuting as a combination of struggle and fun. We miss opportunities to infuse laughter though we know the best way to reduce stress in any situation is humor.
What's wrong with seeing the tasks of life as a game instead of a struggle? Eek, the Stress Prone Person says! "If people see work as a game, doesn't that mean they will not do a good job? If preparing for a family outing is seen as a game, doesn't that mean a person doesn't care?"
No. I have a client who travels frequently on business. One day I commented on how stressful travel had become. His response was, "Oh, not to me. A long time ago, I decided to make every trip a party. I get on that plane with my bag of articles and fun books I haven't had time to read, music, my DVD with the Oscar-winning films I missed last year. I travel too often to be miserable."
One way to shake loose rigid, all or nothing, Stress Prone Thinking, is to see tasks as a game. One only need to watch "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" or "ESPN" to see that humans take games very seriously and work hard for goals. It's just that when playing games, we keep reminding ourselves of what is and what is not important. That the score isn't the goal, the game is the goal. Playing is the goal. If the end score was all that mattered, why would we play over and over? Why would we enjoy watching game after game? Games remind us to have fun, always, all the time, in everything we do.

Which tennis racquet should I get?
I've been looking at both the Prince Triple Threat, and the Prince O3 Speedport White.
I have been using a really cheap off balance racquet and I played my friend who used his moms Prince Triple Threat, I borrowed it and my shots were so much better. But I have been looking a lot at the O3 speedport. But the prince range is so vast triple threat is around 100 while the O3 is about 200.
I am around 5'7, and have short arms (compared to most) my strokes are medium long and I want a racquet with a lot of control and a good amount of power would be nice but isn't as important to me.
Which racquet should I look more into/purchase?

First of all, which triple threat racquet is it? There's a bunch of them, and they are all very different. The two that you can find on tenniswarehouse.com are the Bandit and Warrior. I would need to know which one you were thinking of to give the best answer possible.
The easiest way to answer this is to tell you to demo the racquets. Try them out and see which one you like better. It's as simple as that. But I'll give a little extra info on these racquets.
The speedport white is a good, control-oriented racquet. It's among the heavier racquets that prince sells. This is a good thing, as long as it isn't too heavy for you. I would guess it isn't. It also has a somewhat large head, so it will be more forgiving.
The Bandit is a lighter option, but I fear that the oversize would be lighter than what you want. The midplus is a good weight, but it has a small head that requires more consistency.
Personally, I love the Warrior. The favorite racquet I own is an older version of it. It's barely heavier than the speedport white. The midplus has a slightly smaller head, but is still large enough that it should be fine. It's also a little more head-light, which means it's a little more maneuverable. Basically, it'll be a little more comfortable at the net. This racquet probably had the most control of the three.
So, use this as a guide. You know what you are looking for. As far as money is concerned, at tenniswarehouse.com, the bandit is only $55, and the Warrior is $70. At the same time, if you test all three and find that the speedport is more comfortable to you (to the point that you can justify the expense) then get it.
