It is better to ensure that contractor you have appointed is one who has experience in building such clay tennis courts, and the more of them that he has set up, the better it is for you. The location and orientation of the tennis court is next. Courts are better facing north or south, as this would then ensure that players are not affected by the rising or setting sun when they play during those times. A north south orientation will make sure that the users of the court do not have such a problem.
